Davis Departing Assassins?
Saturday, August 31st, 1963: Tony Davis might be headed to another team -- that is, if rumors around the Twin Falls clubhouse have any merit. The 35-year-old right fielder has said publicly that he welcomes a trade.
MLBAAA News: Playoffs begin
Tuesday, August 27th, 1963: For the true baseball fan, playoff baseball is the ultimate experience. The once-in-a-lifetime chance of winning the Round 1. Every player is under intense pressure now. Players might come through in the clutch or fail to rise to the challenge. Managers will be analyzed, second-guessed and third-guessed by observers across the land, all in the span of a nine-inning match-up. The luckiest ones will be there to hoist the championship trophy up to the deafening roar of the fans. It all starts today with the Round 1 and these clashes:

Tuesday, August 27th, 1963: Baseball's second season is about to begin in the MLB Triple A. The playoffs are scheduled to start in just a matter of days. All the qualifiers have won the right to be there and will be battling hard to win it all -- but only one team can win it. That team will have to win the Round 1 to be named the 1963 champions.
