| Breaking News |  | Tallahassee's Smith Stands out in Shutout Friday, August 23rd, 1963: Kelsey Smith of the Tallahassee Torturers put the clamps on the opposition and held the Vancouver Canadians scoreless in a 6-hit whitewash.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the Vancouver skipper after the 2-0 loss.
Smith was on target most of the game and finished with 8 strikeouts and 3 walks.
